Melissa is a Special Counsel Lawyer with a dedicated focus in the practice area of Wills and Estates law. Melissa has extensive experience in Wills and Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation.

Melissa graduated from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Laws in 2016 and completed her Graduate Diploma of Practical Legal Training at Bond University in 2017. Melissa was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in Brisbane in May 2017 and has since developed extensive experience in private practice.

In May 2026, Melissa completed a Master of Laws majoring in Wills and Estates, further strengthening her specialist knowledge.

Through her experience and continued professional development in the field of Wills and Estates Law, Melissa has also attained Full Membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Full Membership of STEP being a recognised professional designation requiring practitioners to demonstrate the requisite experience, knowledge and expertise in the practice areas of trusts, estates and succession.

Melissa can assist clients with a broad range of matters, from preparing Wills and tailored estate plans through to the administration of complex estates and the resolution of estate disputes. Melissa recognises that these matters often involve significant financial, family and personal considerations and she approaches each matter with both compassion and strength.

Melissa’s focus is on ensuring that her clients understand their options, the effects of those options and the legal process, so they can make informed decisions with confidence. Melissa prides herself on providing sound legal advice and guidance to assist her clients to achieve the best possible outcome in accordance with their desired objectives.

Originally from New South Wales, Melissa moved to Queensland in 2012. Outside of legal practice, she is a mother and enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends.
